Let's see how this works

So, yeah, I've jumped onto the Livejournal 'bandwagon'. Pretty much this is just for information about the fiction that I'm writing (fan fiction or otherwise). Let's see how deligent I am with updating this thing (both my Yahoo! Groups ended up in no update-ville). There might also be occasional bit about my 'real-life' although there definitely won't be anything too important, like information about where I live and how easy it would be to kill me, for instance).

School-sponsered matchmaking quizzes suck

Alright, every year my school forces the students to fill out a matchmaker questionnaire, and then charge us money to buy back the results.

Well, as this is my senior year, and I had an extra dollar on me, I said "What the hell?" and actually bought it.

You have no idea how happy I am that I bought it just for laughs. I'm eighteen, and there were only three seniors that I ended up getting matched with.

However, there were a decent amount of girls in the lower grades that I supposedly could get along with reasonably well. But you know, if I actually bought the results for potential dating prospects I'd be out of luck.

You know, due to the whole 'hormone-induced lust with another person' equals prison if the girl involved isn't my age thing.

I mean really, I expected to at least, you know, be "pairable" with more girls in my own grade. Heck, two of the girls that I am compatible with happen to be friends of my sister!

But at least I know I'm compatible with jailbait. That’s always reassuring.

Writing Progress

Alright, I figured that since I created this Journal to inform my (probably dismantled) fan base about the status of my fics, I should actually write up a post that actually deals with that.

Reprise of the Spirits (Digimon Frontier) is going through a massive 'stab-myself-through-head-and-flush-old-crap-down-the-toliet-moment'. Simply put, it's far too complex for a fic of the size that I imagined. Expect a 'reinvented' version down the road.

Infantry Diares (Digimon Adventure *Diaries Universe*) chapter three is on the verge of being started, I just need to fully plan out exactly how events are going to transpire in it.

My first multi-chapter Code Lyoko fic, Burning the Bridge has up to chapter 02 completed. I'm thinking it's going to go for five chapters, but I also thought that Reprise was going to be thirteen chapters, and I had to restart that.

I'm also thinking about writing a few Fire Emblem fics, so expect a few fics in those universes (probably Sacred Stones or Path of Raidence) in the future.

Planning out an original universe that I plan to write stories in is a complete bitch to do. On the plus side there's the potential reward of money in it, which makes up for the difficulty somewhat. Also, you'll probably learn my full name if I ever get that universe published, in a shameless way to get readers for it (of course I have to actually write the damn thing).

Now to just get to planning some of these things out. I'm just glad that:

a.) Law and Order isn't on this week
b.) I'm single, and aren't going to be bothered by the 'romantic' (i.e. get into person's pants) of Valentine's day.
